PAINT PROTECTION ?
Automotive Paint Protection Film is a transparent, urethane covering that is wrapped around a car’s exterior to provide a line of defense against environmental hazards. The film serves as a sacrificial layer, taking and absorbing the damage that otherwise would impact the vehicle’s factory paint.
WHY IS PAINT PROTECTION IMPORTANT TO YOUR VEHICLE?
Car Paint Protection Film is the most comprehensive form of defense and protection you can establish between your car and all that can damage your car’s appearance. Because of Paint Protection Film’s high impact resistance, its application will protect your paint from chips and scratches caused by rocks and road debris.

Constructed from an elastomeric polyurethane, PPF will self-heal light scratches & swirl marks with a light heat application to the film's surface.

WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS OF PAINT PROTECTION?
Paint Protection Film is undoubtedly an incredible product. When selecting a quality film and an experienced installer, the application of a Clear Bra will add value to your vehicle.
That said, the product can be oversold and overpromised by some manufacturers and installers. In order to be an informed consumer, it’s important for you to know what Paint Protection Film does not do.

IS NOT BULLET-PROOF:
The urethane film of a Clear Bra is incredibly strong and impact resistant. That being said, it does not have super-powers. It can be damaged by a particularly strong force.

IS NOT MAINTENANCE-FREE
Long-term automotive paint protection is never a one-stop solution. The road is a dirty place. Your film will get dirty. If you let dirt, bird-droppings, or bug-splatter sit on your car’s film, you will shorten the film’s life. You will still need to wash your car regularly in order to maintain its look and maximize the value of the film.
In order to help with the maintenance and longevity of a film, we always recommend applying a Ceramic Coating on top.
