The 2024 McLaren Artura is McLaren's newest addition to their lineup. An all new 3.0L V6 Twin Turbo Hybrid that can run solely on electric power up to 11 miles. The Artura is McLaren's "entry-level" supercar however still launches to 60mph in 2.6 seconds.
When we were given the question "what would you guys to do make my Artura one of one?" we started to brainstorm. After some research we found what would become an extremely unique project, the McLaren MSO 600LT Segestria Borealis Project completed in the Summer of 2020. They incorporated spider-web-like lines in the side mirrors and the rear spoiler. We knew we had found our inspiration.
Analyzing the body lines and trim pieces of the Artura we narrowed down where we would incorporate the spider web design and what we needed to black out.
Quickly after having the car in the shop we realized that the car had too much red showing, making it hard to appreciate the accents the car has. We decided the plan of action would be to blackout the roof and trims and add stripes with Vinyl Wrap to the front and rear of the Artura. Additionally we decided to include the Spider Web Design to the front and rear stripe, fender vent trims, and the side mirrors.
Using an MSO build as inspiration means we have to ensure that the styling of the spider-web design is just right and not too much, otherwise it would look like Peter Parker's Artura. The First Class Autosports team came together and after a couple of day's work we created a truly one-of-a-kind McLaren Artura.
