In 2021 Ford changed the modern carmaker game by re-introducing the Ford Bronco! Originally released in 1965, the Ford Bronco took America by storm, million of people fell in love with the two-door SUV and it was very successful in it's sales. By 1996 however, people's tastes had changed and Americans wanted a four door SUV. At that point the Bronco was replaced with the Expedition.
With the re-release of the Bronco, Ford is offering a 2 and 4 door version along with many other special editions. The Ford Bronco Raptor is the high-performance variant that is much more off-road capable than its previous ancestor. This variant comes with a twin-turbo V-6 making 418 horsepower and a completely revamped Fox suspensions system. Starting at $92,000, this latest addition to the Raptor name stands tall and mighty, rocketing to 60mph in 5.6 seconds.
The owner of this Raptor wanted to customize it and make it his own, we decided to take on the challenge. Vossen Wheels were installed on the car and then the vinyl work began. We began the wrapping the whole vehicle in Satin Black, including the door jambs. Additionally, we added Gloss Black vinyl accents to contrast with the Satin Black.
The owner, a professional baseball player, loved the new and menacing look of his one of one custom Ford Bronco Raptor. We took our time with this project, since the vehicle is originally white and the Bronco's body panels are removable, we had to ensure that no white would show if and when things like the roof were removed. We disassembled the doors and roof to get into every nook and crevice.
The Bronco Raptor was a very cool car to have in the shop, with it's size and custom interior - everyone that saw it loved it.
