BMW M1000RR Fully Carbon Race Bike for the Street

Updated: Nov 10

Designed for the race track first and legalized for the street second, the BMW Motorrad M1000RR is the most ludicrous motorcycle available on the market today. At a staggering $38,740 the limited edition model is only available to select clients. We had the pleasure of working on the only one in Florida (so far) however, limited to only 500 production units to meet homologation requirements we suspect there wont be many. Optimized in the wind tunnel and further developed on track, the aerodynamics are stunning with large carbon fiber winglets on both sides. If that isn't enough the whole bike is made of carbon resulting in a higher top speed and quicker acceleration.

The motor makes 205 HP at 13,000 rpm with a limited top speed for 189mph. The M1000RR Competition we had the pleasure of working on was a Blackstorm Metallic optioned with all of the bells and whistles offered by BMW. The owner, a BMW Motorsport fanatic, has brought us many of his cars and bikes but this one is certainly special. Optioned with the Competition package, this M1000RR has an M Endurance Chain, 7 extra pieces of Carbon Fiber, the M Billet Package, and the M Forged Carbon Fiber Wheels.

We installed a Ceramic Coating Silver Package on this example to make the bike easier to maintain and protect the Carbon Fiber from the sun. The result is a deep, wet look with hydrophobic qualities. Additionally we installed Paint Protection Film on some of the Carbon Fiber bits throughout the bike to protect them from rock chips and road debris since the owner tracks the bike at multiple tracks across the country.
