The second week of 2024 we had three Fisker Ocean One Extremes in the shop at the same time. Fisker as a company is not new, with their revolutionary Fisker Karma taking ahold of the Sports Car EV market in 2012. This EV company has returned in 2024 with their all new Fisker Ocean, a midsize SUV with impressive numbers and a solar panel on the roof. There are hardly any on the road and these three were some of the first to be delivered in Miami. The owners, all from different backgrounds, wanted the same solution for their Fisker Oceans: protection for their new cars!
Two owners decided that their best course of action would be to opt for a Ceramic Pro Silver Package On their Fisker Oceans. The other owner is planning for a longer term ownership of the car and decided to do a full XPEL Paint Protection Film installation on the car. All three Firskers received an XPEL Ceramic Window Tint installation. Oddly enough, all three cars were painted "Blue Planet", a $975 option. Confusing to say the least. Two of the Oceans were specked with the $1,900 F3a SlipStream Forged Carbon Fiber three spoke wheels and the other was equipped with the $1,600 Black F5b AirGliders.
The Fisker Ocean One has some unique features however the most noticeable is the solar panel roof. The Fisker Ocean One has a range of 360 Miles. The solar panel roofs create 1,500 Miles of additional range in one year for Oceans located in areas with plenty of light like California or Florida. Fisker says "Under Ideal conditions if you go in snail traffic on the way to work bumper-to-bumper, you could get up to 2,000 miles a year. There comes a point where it is quite efficient, quite a lot of miles you can get free, total zero emission, so I think if you can afford it, it's a really cool feature."

Ceramic Pro 9H Coatings are referred to as glass shields for your paint due to it's nano-glass structure. Due to creating a smooth layer on your paint, Ceramic Pro coatings leave your paint with a deep, wet, and shiny look that makes your Fisker look brand new. Although this option does not offer protection to the degree of PPF, it is a great option for those that want a short term ownership experience and do not plan on driving too hard or on the track. The Ceramic Pro Manufacturer Warranty also requires owners to visit a Ceramic Pro Certified Dealer and have a maintenance performed on their vehicle yearly to keep their warranty active.
